Our beginnings are quite intriguing! It all began over a hundred years ago when the structure was first built on a large coconut grove in a village called “Anodawa”. The stunning boutique villa you see today was once home to a rich trader and was affectionately known as “Walakulu Bangalow”. A few years later the villa became the home of a rich regional leader and remained so for a very long time. 1980s, the villa was taken over by the current owners and used as a vacation home for over three decades.
Certain parts of the villa were in need of renovation, and so, in 2016, work began on the face-lift for this old but sturdy structure. Four years later our classic ‘walawwa’ style villa was opened once again and is now known as Anodawa Boutique Villa.
